Where the painted Rally’s on the early Buick’s. In between the spokes that were commonly satin black. Were they ever painted Lighter grey metallic?

Up through ‘65 (maybe ‘66?) the centers were an argent color.

can it be pulled off. or will it look bad. Painting rally centers Grey masked off with the stencil kit. instead off satin black.

There is a ‘68 to maybe ‘70 version that had black centers and silver (painted?) spokes and rims instead of chrome. They used a stainless trim ring over the rim. I think Mike Tromm has researched their availability and a thread existed in ‘The Hides’ at one time about it.
