Whats up with the rocker panel moulding?

I don't see a vin tag. I know it may have been painted over which would make it impossible to see in the picture. I would buy it if it is a real GS 400. But only way to communicate is by phone, makes it a little more difficult because of the time difference. Missing part of the front wheel well trim, could be a Skylark, no engine shot. Rocker molding, as mentioned, wasn't used on GS400. Was it used on Skylark?

Skylark used thin trim at lower body line.
Spoetwagons used rocker trim i believe but to best of my knowledge no coupes had it.
    Looks like chevelle rocker trim

Don’t see the GS400 emblem on the door panel. Should be above the arm rest.

It's a damn good thing we have you guys on here that are true experts on this stuff!!;) Thank God I did not show this to the wife. She has wanted a '67 Buick convertible for a long time! I have always told her when the right one comes along.:p (Obviously, I like them too!) She would have been unhappy with me if I told her I found the (one!) & then have to tell her NO it is a clone.:mad: It's really not that bad.:D She puts up with my car obsession, so I try to make her happy as much as i can.

A lot of parts can get lost/changed in 50 years!
Dont assume its a cloan. But door panel emblems are the only emblem not reproduced for 67 gs400s.
Someone needs to check the vin for
446677. If vins right and gut still feels wrong then check for skylark trim holes being filled in lower body.
Even if its a skylark cloan the price is nice on it. Assuming body is nice and no rust issues.

    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

Clone or not......If it's as nice as it looks, still looks like a good deal. If it's real, then it's a fantastic deal.
