Hi Everyone, So I’m about to start a long long long overdue project that should’ve been attempted years ago... I was given a old Datsun 280Z from my Grampa when I was only ten years old, the conditions were if I could start it up and drive it down the farm road it was mine for the taking. Long story short, I was the only ten year old with a car on my block! I went to the Back To The 50’s with my old man four years later like we do every year and I found my soon to be forever car, it was a 1967 Buick Wildcat two door that was brought up from Nevada. I ended up trading my Datsun and $400 cash for the Buick, never once looked back and I still to this day wouldn’t change my decision. I’ve attempted many times to start the restoration, but with taking care of my grandpa until he passed and now the last five years with my dad having asbestos fibrosis have been extremely rough. I’m now thirty five and would love to finally restore my BlackCat, my son just turned eight in March and I would love to give him the same opportunity in two years that my grandpa gave me. So what I’m asking for is if anyone would lend a hand on helping me find some bucket seats, Center Counsol with shifter & tach, steering column with tilt. Hooked On Cats, Jake
67 bucket seats are a one year only and can b tough to find 68 seats are almost the same and gives you a few more choices Same seats and tracks were in all gm big cars of those years so not Buick specific I have a console but no shifter I’d sell , it needs a little repair but fixable A tilt column for a floor shift big car is going to be your hardest find near impossible You can have a column shift tilt modified possibly Good luck with your project
