    Hi

Can anyone tell me where the voltage regulator is located on a 1967 Special? 340 engine. I took a quick look at the firewall where I expected to find it but didn't see it.

I know right where it was on my '67 GS400 - right in the middle of the firewall.

I also have been getting a clicking under the dash on the left side for the last week or 2 on engine shut down but I can't think of anything under there that would do this. Any ideas appreciated.

    Thanks

    Keith is right
Every 67 intermediate buick ive seen was on firewall near throttle lever.
Maybe someone converter to internal reg alternator?
The connector on alternator will be a dead giveaway .
Int regulated has a flat wide 2 terminal connector and original 67 is more square

    Ok
    Thanks
My thought was it would be in the same spot.
I will check the alternator for a conversion.
Has always read 13.8 or so on my volt gauge. Yesterday on a day trip I noticed it jumping from 13.5 to 15 and even 16 now and then.

    Ok thanks
On further inspection it seems someone converted it to internal regulation.
