Well, 3" puts me out of the running, I'd be lying down in it. As for the "blown head gasket", it's more likely a cracked head if it's still the 430 in there. The 67 model had a real issue with that from what I understand.

The 66-67 Riv is in my opinion one of the nicest cars out there, but that drop ruined the lines..

Ehhhhh...luv ma-CHINE. Really hate it when they butcher a perfectly good body like this.

If the guy ran a non-stock cam with stronger valve springs on a big-port 430, cracks are possible in the heads....hopefully not.

Pretty dang good proportions considering, and looks like a good job was done. If a guy sectioned it about 2" it'd look really cool, as the front fenders are looking a little "fat" now.

Yeah, I agree with Lucas. Would have looked better, in my opinion, if the chop was closer to or a little less than 2". The lines would not have been disturbed as much.

I was talking about actually doing an old school body section to get the proportions even more correct. I think a 2" body section would make it look totally proper.

Now to go along with the section it needs a top drop. Looks out of place as the proportions are not right in my eyes.
