OK, Last week I asked for the wrong aerial nut for my 1967's and had several responses and now I have 3 aerial nuts that don't work and my fault. First and second photos is what I bought, third photo is what I need.

It is clear in first and second photos that the threads are inside the aerial nut but it has no barrel that extends down into the fender to screw on the aerial base and hold the aerial in place.

Anybody out there have several of these with the barrel? Two of my 67's each need one, white convertible is OK.
    Thanks in advance,

That would be great if you have two, I would take one if that is all you have but two would be 'the cats meow!'

Looks the same as a '66. The Buick Farm had them in the past. However their site is presently down.

is there a difference between a plain am antenna verses am/fm??

Yes! Am is telescoping! and the AM/FM is a solid stainless steel mast! Used of the 66-67 cars!

thats strange because the solid mast are plentiful-i have 2 myself-but the am/fm radios are RARE

Rick that may have the correct aerial nut, hard to tell but not for $125. I don't need all the other antenna parts. Thanks for the heads up anyway.

That may explain why I have the tall solid antenna on the SportWagon since it came with AF/FM. The convertible also has AM/FM but its antenna is not as tall as Sportwagon.o_O

Here are a few pictures of the antennas side by side! For reference! Am/fm on top of pictures IMG_20180504_230609_hdr.jpg IMG_20180504_230609_hdr.jpg IMG_20180504_230546_hdr.jpg IMG_20180504_230702_hdr.jpg IMG_20180504_230609_hdr.jpg

I clearly have the tall AM/FM antenna on the Sportwagon, not so tall on the convertible although it is factory AM/FM. Original probably damaged sometime in the past and they decided to replace it with AM shorter antenna.
