Corvettes and Chrysler 300's with powerful engines and lightweight racing specials like the Chevrolet Z11, but these were expensive cars, some with limited availability. So when Pontiac dropped their big 'Bonneville' 389 V8 into the midsize LeMans for 1964, it ushered in a new era of affordable automotive high performance. Almost immediately the GTO attained, then held, its legendary status in the pantheon of automotive high performance. We are in the process refurbishing some of the cosmetics on this old goat. It is PHS documented as 389 with factory tri-power, 4 speed and the correct colors. We should have her ready in a few weeks. More images and details coming soon. Thank you for looking

Agreed, but I've been finding a lot of cheap GTOs and 442s lately. It'll be interesting to see what further pics and details they post up later, if it is for real.

I know someone looking for a 67 GTO. Prefers black 4 speed, $30-$42k. Anyone know of any?
