Here’s a question for all you kitty kat experts! Were the gs models produced at all the big car plants that built cats or just certain ones? Were there more built at say Flint than the others? Thanks for your help ‘ a buddy is getting started on restoring one of these!
Hi! Roberta! Thanks for the info! His GS is a South gate car built 5th week of December 1965! Was maybe shipped to Florida new! I read somewhere that South Gate did much things by rail! And even shipped cars to Florida!? I thought a production material usage sheet by plant exist!? Giving the totals by plant? Anyways his is a cool color combo and has many options!
Roberta, Is there any way to know how many 1968 Wildcats remain? is there a registry that you are aware of? Mine was built in Kansas City.
Gary, not really any way to tell, we can look at how many belong to the Buick Club of America and how many were made, but how many are left is anybody's guess.

The short tail makes that a Bobcat. Now Bobcats by definition are Wildcats, but are Wildcats Bobcats? Should I call my car "Bob" for short?
A few new pictures of the kitty Kat gs! Getting the shell nice and straight! Did have to put in new filler panel and repair the window channel! Doing things the right way! Never easy but excellent results! Also priming and blocking the bolt on sheet metal! Lots and lots of work going on here!!
