Not a 4 dr. guy but... Pwr. vents? or locks? I don't see the vent manual hardware. https://fortmyers.craigslist.org/chl/cto/d/1966-buick-electra-225/6830194970.html
Yeah, that's a sharp loaded Electra right there. Don't see many with power vents and locks, that's for sure. That car has been repainted but looks decent in the pics other than some skirt alignment issues. Not sure it's worth the asking price though I'd love it as a daily driver. I would love it even better with some "incorrect" Buick road wheels on it!
I like this car! It's also got Cruise Control, which is rare on everything except Rivieras. So this one is about as loaded as they get, which will help sell it. Hopefully it goes to a good home where it will be used and cherished, and it doesn't wind up a some lead-sled pimpmobile.
OK V-8 Buick People: First impressions are , yeah, not bad. The price? Come on now. The rest of the car? At market, if it were solid and ran good there would be some detailing that could really make it pop. Mitch
Two little things that I noticed; - why is the PCV disconnected, and the steering wheel is out of a LeSabre.
Seems like a nice car. " 4 Door Hardtop. Very clean inside and out. Same owner 50 years. Pictures tell the story. No post 4 door hard top my wife's car for 50 years. "
Like everything about this one from color to option list. This is how a big Buick should be. Other than some more detailing, wouldn’t change a thing
Come on Keith, don't you think it might look a tad better with some of those bright orange wheels on it?
The reason I say the wheel is out of a LeSabre is because the Electra one had a chrome and plastic ring on the rim that deteriorated and chipped out. This one doesn't have it or the space for it, implying it came from a LeSabre with standard trim.
Okay, yeah I see what you're saying. Either they peeled it all off or they changed the wheel out to eliminate the problem.
OK Marc: or....like my 66 Le Sabre Custom's wheel (same exact thing) the foil went South and I peeled the rest off. The Custom wheels have the vinyl covered horn bar where the standard wheels have a stainless horn bar. Mitch
