need the harness that lights up the shift indicator and the courtesy light at the back of the console the wires are white and orange and have a 4 way plug that goes into the pig tail to the main harness
Pretty sure the console wiring is an integral part of the dash harness, and not a separate harness that plugs into the main dash harness.
From what I remember on 66 and 67 auto floor shift GS and Skylark the 66 had one indicator shift light and 67 had two lamps.
mine are all new harnesses from american autowire, I sent in all of my original harnesses, The console harness is a separate harness on mine, I had the original but can't seem to find it now. The one Fred has is like the one that was on my car the shift indicator light is a decent size bulb, orange/white wire the courtesy light is a small bulb with a black wire. I have found on '65 s the wire harness for the floor console on an automatic car is an integral part of the main dash harness, no connector to separate it from the dash harness. On manual 65 s , the harness for a console is separate of the dash harness with a five terminal connector. The '66 manual GS I repaired the wiring for had the separate console harness. Can't say what an automatic harness is like for '66. As GS Spoken Here pointed out, there is a difference with the number of lamps for the shift indicator between '66 and '67. the 65 s also had only one indicator bulb. Loren
I have harness, think it is later, 68/72 but has plug and 2 shift indicator lamps and the one for the rear light. Can post picture if that will help.
