New member who just purchased a 66 buick skylark gs convertible. I am looking for a set of 1966 gs hood scoops and a passenger side rear quarter trim piece. If you have these parts or know of someone who does please let me know. You can email me at twinsamp@windstream.net. Thanks, Gid

Welcome aboard. Got a set of scoops. Need to dig them out. Can you be more specific on the other molding?

    Gid,
Welcome to the group; it's always good to see another '66 GS surface on here. Post some pics and let us know what part of the country you're from.

You might have better luck posting your needs in 'Parted Wanted' section. Dennis Wheeler (username is Wheelz) had some of the trim parts you're looking for; check the Parts for Sale section.

Thanks for looking. Let me know when you find the scoops. The trim piece is the passenger side rear rocker molding. Its about 24 inches long and approximately 2-3 inchs wide. It is beveled across the bottom. you can reach me at 678-788-4807. Thanks, Gid

Sorry to chime in but have to ask what you describe as "thin pillar coupe"?
Is it just a name for the sedan body style.

Peter, sorry for the belated reply but I'm not getting notifications on posts I've replied to. To answer to your question: Yes, thin pillar coupe is the 2 door sedan body style; thin pillar is description used in some manuals, including the assembly manual.
