As promised, I'm selling these at $110 a set and S&H will be a flat rate of $12.50 as long as they are shipped inside of the USA.

We also have the parking lens gaskets for $13.50 a set and S&H is included if purchased and shipped with the lenses.

The parts are simply amazing and we decided to spend the extra money and have them mold injected in Poly Carbonite (the same material used to make safety glasses) so they'll have a long life, excellent UV stabilization and high impact rating.

You can purchase these directly from my website (any major credit card or PayPal) www.DamnGoodAutoParts.com

or you can send a money order / cashiers check to:

    Thank you,

    Chris,

I just put in your new front parking light lenses. They look great, and they have a nice tight fit. Your lenses are a vast improvement over the originals. Thanks for making such a quality lens for us '65 Skylark GS guys. I know that it took a lot of hard work and money to get these produced. Kudos!

We are off to a bit of a slow start (I'm hoping it's just the time of year) however we are selling parking lenses.

I'm starting to recieve pictures from guys who have already installed them and are very pleased with the fit and finish.

The pictures below are from Keith in Washington State:

Say Chris, I'm interested in both the front and rear lenses, but shipping to Canada is a royal expensive pain. Sooooo, I'm thinking that if I ever get in your neighborhood, perhaps we could work something out whereby I pick them up directly from you.

I drive a tractor trailer, so pulling up to your front door is probably out of the question, unless you have very understanding neighbors

I might be able to arrange shipping to a US address where I could get them that way. One way or another, I'll get in touch with you soon. :beer

Thanks for seeing these projects through.:TU: :TU:

Chris - Excellent work on the lense gaskets!

I'm still a long way off from cleaning up my parts and fully assembling the running lights, so no pics available right now, but I'm was thrilled to see how well these did in the test fit.

Keep up the good work. :TU:

I have a long way to go before I come close to breaking even on the parking or reverse lens projects. I still owe my die maker and plastics company a considerable sum so any new orders would help out greatly.

Everyone seems to be very happy with the product. Based upon the low volume / high quality of the parts, we've tried to keep the price the parts just high enough to cover the tooling and manufactoring costs.

Of the 70 Parking Lens sets originally requested, less than 10 sets have shipped. Reverse lenses have done much better at almost 50 sets sold however we're still way under the 125 sets estimated to sell.

I've been thinking that maybe since it's the end of summer and school is just starting back up that folks might just need to wait for the extra money to free up before making a purchase (I know that's my case here :) )

I'd appreciate any feedback that might help encouage more sales (Please PM me).

    Thanks again,

    Chris

Hi Chris I bought a set off of you on e-bay a couple weeks ago. I haven't installed them on my original bumper on the car because I need to find a nice front bumper. ( preferably a new one or rechrome. anyone know where I can get a quality front bumper ) Also my parking light buckets I have are badly rusted.

    Beautiful lenses!!!!

    Thanks again Joe.

    Thanks Joe for the comments.

I'll keep an eye out for a front bumper and some new lens buckets.

Just in case you didn't know, the buckets are universal for the 65 GS - Skylark - Special and Wagon. The Skylark / GS lenses are different than the Special / Wagons (shorter in length) however the buckets are the same.

Make sure you get a Skylark / GS bumper since the openings for the different sized lenses is different also.

    Thanks again,

    Chris

Thanks for all of the nice comments.

For everyone else, I still have plenty of parts left and one heck of a tooling bill to pay off.

Does anyone know if Santa is a Buick guy? I'm just asking cause I think these would make some really nice stocking stuffers! :Brow:

Thanks again everyone for your ongoing support,
