    Hey Bruno,
thanks for thinking about me. It would be very nice of you to ask your good friend if it's a HT. Your help is very much appreciated:)
I'm looking forward hearing from you.

    Hey Walt,
I have seen the car, and it's really a shame it's not a Skylark and with a V8. The car would perfectly fit my needs/demands exept for the two I mentioned. The car looks, judged from the pictures, to be a good solid ride though.
A big thank you for sharing that link, Walt. It was very nice of you:)
    Have a nice day.
    Greetings
    Jens

    Hi Jamie,
yes, I know I'm hard to satisfy, and I must say I feel a bit embarrassed, when I'm turning all of you guys nice offers down every time. But please bare over with me. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the difficulties and the extra expenses for me of importing a car from the USA, makes me want exactly the car I desire. I know it can seem a little ungrateful when I keep on saying no to all the good offers i recieve, but I really would want you all to know that I'm deeply grateful of all the help you have already given me. I really appreciate all your good coments, and I wish I could invite you all here to Denmark, and buy you all a beer or two, just to show how thankful I am.
I hope you all can understand my situation, and just want you to know the feedback I have received on this site from you guys has been truly amazing.
Lots of greetings to all of you here from Denmark:)

    Hey Tom,
thanks a lot for your helpful link. It works just fine. I have been wondering if there wasn't a search engine like this one, since it takes a while to go through all the states and cities on Craigslist. Hopefully I can get a better overview now.
Thanks a lot tom, and a happy new year to you:)

    Hi,

The one in San Diego looks very nice from the post,

I searched for 3 years for my 2-door post 65 skylark and probably paid way too much, but still a solid car so don't loose faith on your search as you will not be happy if you settle although, I did in a way and can not complain as I looked at a lot of bondo buggies, I flew to Seatle Washington to see a car that had gapping holes in the trunk.

A side note and maybe to make you a little jealous, in my hast and longing to drive a 65 again I purchased this 65 Buick Special from Brian Stone, 300 V8, 4v & best of all
4 speed and have been driving it for the past 2 years it is a very enjoyable daily driver 30,000 miles to date and still going strong

good luck with the search I will keep my eyes out with you in mind.

    Hey Jim,
thanks for your input:). I've actually bought one already, and I also payed way too much for it. I had to do it a bit in a hurry since my girlfriend is pregnant and is about to deliver in april, so it would be nice if I could get it ready for the summer, while I still have some time. Also the exchange-or currency rate dollars compared to danish kroners is attractive at the moment, and was actually better before christmas. At the moment the dollar rate has already gone up, so I'm glad I bought it some weeks ago. But apart from the way to high price and the bondo I can see, I can't wait to get the car home. I really like the 65 Skylark model and maybe it's not so bad that it's not in a mint condition. It allows me to get some sleep at night and I can drive it around without being too worried that some fool would crash in to it. I hope the bondo isn't too bad though.
I must say that your green special is a true beauty. I actually looked at a similar one in October in Wisconsin and said yes to buy it and all, but the owner sold it right in front of me in the 11th hour, and it really pissed me off. It was also in a very good condition, -same colour, -rally wheels and with the original see-through seat cover on it. I really enjoy looking at a nice car like yours and I'm not jalous at all. I wish you all the best with the car, and I hope you'll have some fantastic experiences with her. Make sure to enjoy her, and show her around to all the people in new boring cars, so they can discover the beauty of her and see what a real car looks like:)

    Best wishes
    Jens
