Isn't this technically illegal? Was surprised to see this especially after reading articles( such as the 2nd link below) of people trying to pass off cars that aren't what they are.

yes, it is illegal, I reported the item to Ebay, you should as well

 

I had looked at that car before it got sold to the guy that parted it!
It was badly rusted, needing floors, trunk and frame repair.
Too bad, would have been a nice combo when restored with astro blue paint, saddle interior and 4 speed.

 

Back in the old days, rebranding horses and cows was a hanging offence.

I should plant a tree...

 

If it would have the cowl with it or a substantial part then it wouldn't be illegal..Selling the tag like that...yes,it is illegal...
