So been doing a lot of research on lowering options for a 1963 Electra, Cutting springs is out as this car is the baby hauler and needs to maintain ride quality plus believe they have pigtail springs?? Jamco sells lowering springs but $500 is pretty heavy plus customer service is a no go from past exp so prefer to stay away. Bags is an option but i tend to prefer old school methods and a static drop. Maybe somebody on here knows I remember years ago reading guys were using Caprice springs on some of the 60's Buick's not sure year/model but has anyone got any info on this or if there are any "aftermarket stock" spring from another car that works to lower these cars a few inches while maintaining spring rate? Thanks in Advance!!
