Any one have one. My dash instruments lights won't work. It looks like the swivel isn't making good contact. I've sanded the sides as best I can and bent it a bit, did a bit of damage to ceramic insulation in the process. I can wiggle it and get a contact, but if I hit a bump it loses contact again. So I think I want to replace it.

Having said that. I can't get the bloody thing out. No idea how to remove it from the front panel. I can't even loosen the knob at the front to remove it

    Who's got the secret ?

I don't know what the headlight switch for a 61 looks like. Is it like the 70-72 Skylark/GS? Pull out the stalk to turn the lights on? If so, the switch body has a small button, that when depressed, allows you to pull the entire stalk out of the switch body.

Thanks Larry, there was a small spring loaded button on bottom of the switch that I wondered what it did, that may well be it. Will give it a go. Still need a replacement switch though if anyone has one.
