My buddy just brought home a 1960 LeSabre four door wagon that is in fantastic shape. What a cool car! It has 78000 miles on the clock, two owner car, bought from the original owner in 1965, and pretty much driven on family vacations. It has a nailhead 401, 4 barrel carb, two speed auto with reverse all the way to the right. Strange. It has Wildcat 445 on the air cleaner lid. White with maroon interior. I wonder if you wagon folks could help us decode the vin and body codes?
    VIN#4G2011383
Cowl tag: Style 4435 Body 1877-Z
    Trim 445-RI Paint C-C
    ACC B I6 K6 p2 Z
On sill plate: IONIA BODY MFG CO
    Division of Mitchell Bentley Corp
Any info would be appreciated, I left my camera at home, I'll make another trip down there today and get some pics!!

Interesting that reverse is over to the right, what transmission would be in the '60?

The Dynaflow. Last used in '63. I ditched it for a ST400. Much better in my opinion.
