1959 Edsel Corsair

    1959 Edsel Corsair. Two door HT. Dragged into local yard near my house. Will need complete restoration. Outer body sheet metal appears good. Trim appears largely there and in good shape. Believe this is highest Edsel trim level. V8 car 352? FE? engine. Interior is full of trash and will need to be cleaned out. Can get yard contact info if anyone is interested.

    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

    I BELIEVE the Corsair had the short stroke 332 FE, but same basic engine.

    I thought/seem to remember that the 332 was only available one year & that was 1958.

    Just did the Google thing, and '58 and '59 according to it, with the 352 FE and 361 Edsel overlapping it. The solid lifter 352 Interceptors were pretty cool engines.

    Would be really cool with a built '58 410, but I don't suppose there's much in the way of aftermarket support for an Edsel 410.
