Hi, I've got most of a '58 model 40 that you can have for free. It was my father's, he never got around to finishing it, and I need it out of the yard so I can sell the house. All of the metal, glass , a bunch of sheet metal repair panels he bought, not much of an interior, an old 455 engine that's not in it and may be junk. The original tranny and rest of the drivetrain is there. He was going to make a 455/powerglide drag car out of it. If you can weld sheet metal, most everything you need is there. I've also got a 12 bolt housing only that he got from a 60-something chevelle. You'd need an engine and drivetrain, 4 link or ladder bar rear, etc., and you'd be racing. It rolled on its tires 4 years ago, front suspension looks okay. Get it all out of my yard and I'll give you the paperwork. You'd have to drive to my other house to get the repair panels, he bought the complete set. I also have a new gas tank in the box, new door glass, and a new master cylinder that goes with it, and multiple boxes of trim and small parts he took off of it. Damascus, Maryland. BTW, I drive a '68 GS 400 ragtop with a 455 and TA stage 2 heads. Kept all the original parts, the kids are all Buick. Thanks!
Wow, what a generous offer. That's very close to my moms house. I hope Ethan or someone with a bunch of space scoops it up.
I'm glad to see you're more interested in seeing someone save it rather than getting money out of it.
