Looks like a REALLY nice example, not seeing $26,500

 

I see it being worth that much if it's rust free and fully operable, how often do we even see these anymore? very cool car

 

The biggest factor is chrome quality. I know a guy who spent $60K on chrome on a 57 Buick.

 

A very pretty car...but, it's a Special. I could see the money if this was a fully loaded Roadmaster.

 

I'm one of those odd guys who prefer a Lightweight Special over a heavy Roadmaster.

 

I like both bodies as well, but we got to figure this is a quarter carat diamond and a Roadmaster Is a full carat diamond.

Btw, what is “all original fresh paint”? That’s a pretty sly way of saying it’s been repainted in the proper factory colors

 

They used a can of paint that had a best before date of 31/12/57.
