    This is a pretty car!
    He's done away with the fuel pump and the oil bath, and the interior is pretty fresh. There are a few issues with the restoration, but not enough IMHO to detract from the car. (From what I can see here) The 263 is a solid runner if a little slow, but this car would be a pleasant cruiser. It's top of the money for one of these, so it would need to be inspected from top to bottom.

    Looks like it shares a lot of parts with your '53 88. Looks like the same body above the belt line.

    It is, they shared the same body. Maybe that's why I like this car!

    $12,000 is probably fair for that car.

    Handsome little 53, I would want to check out the paint quality, it looks questionable on the backend photo

    Well Gary, as of 2 days ago that Olds I got is no more. It got stripped of a few important and irreplaceable parts, and now it's just a hulk. My "buddy" decided he needed to scab a few more bits off of it and did so without telling me. So what's left of it is headed to the crusher. :(
