    Apparently they did build 301 of them there. The Marquette wasn't really a Buick, it was a sub division overseen by Buick. Each manufacturer got one, Cadillac got LaSalle, Buick got Marquette, Oldsmobile got Viking, and Oakland got Pontiac. None of them did very well except for Pontiac, which usurped it's parent company in 1932. LaSalle lasted until 1940, all the others were gone by 1931. You'll note that this car has a flathead engine, Buick never ever built one. The engine was actually sourced from Olds on this car.
