Just wanted to confirm what I read after doing some searching through the forums that Coker tire seems to be the best place to try and get 15x8 Buick rally rims from before I take the plunge. Any advise otherwise or recommendations?

Yep, Steve Caruso..... All the Wheel Vintiques and Specialty Wheel rims I've had experience with have had runout.

I would also would recommend Steve Caruso. He builds a great rim and gets high marks for chrome quality.

I agree 100%. Steve is very meticulous in his production when he welds the shell to the wheel centre.
And I agree concerning Wheel vintiques! He replaced the WV shells on my wheels .

Thanks for all the kind words. Unfortunately I am Waaaaayyyyyy behind. Working full time and trying to keep up with life has put the hurts to wheel production.

What kind of lead time are we talking about for wheels. also I am still waiting on a PS pulley when those get produced again. Busy is good, think of the alternative.

Well i definitly don't feel good about buying 15x8 Buick rallys out of any parts places now for fear ill get Wheel Vintique rims. Steve already let me know he's pretty far behind via email. I will try to find McWheels contact info then and see what happens.

I talked to the guys over at Coker tire & wheel AKA Specialty wheel.
Here's the deal, Coker tire owns specialty wheel. Coker tire purchased Wheel ventiques and move the company to the building right next door to Coker tire in City of industry, Ca.
The quality reports and the big red flag about Wheel ventiques was admittedly all true prior to the sale. Coker has completely rehabilitated the company.
their quality control, sales, ect ect all new and run by Coker. If you buy a wheel from Coker or Specialty wheel. It's being made by Wheel ventiques right next door. also, for special back spacing. order direct from wheel ventiques and they will build the wheel with your required specs. the extra cost is 25 bucks a wheel. www.wheelvintiques.com. My good fortune comes by way of them being 45 minutes from my home and Will call saving me the shipping.
Thought you all should know before, like me turning away from wheel ventiques.

One of those posts on Classic Olds is mine (66luvr). Curt took money from me which I did not get back. He has done it to a LOT of people. If the older posts are still on here he has been blasted on here too.
But on the other hand he has done a lot for some here and never failed to deliver the parts.
You never know how it will go. Of course I recommend against doing business with him.
When I called the Sheriff in the county where Curt lives they assured me they knew very well his name and address as they have received many complaints and helped to recoup what they could. That should be enough to keep you from trying to do business with him. I guarantee that he is a liar and a cheat, I can say that with certainty as I was a participant. The Sheriff got most of the money refunded but I lost about 20%, $140. He is a smooth talker, but he is a crook.

If Steve is behind, maybe Stockton Wheel? They might be better than Specialty or Vintiques. Haven't tried that brand yet.

Stockton is selling specialty wheel which are WV. there just isn't enough demand for all of these companies to manufacture there own Buick wheel. I think WV makes the wheel and everyone buys from them. including summit and jegs. same picture for all of the above too

I called Stockton. They told me they can modify/restore your wheel, but I was quoted a price of $390 to restore my OEM wheel and $480 to widen and restore.
