14x6 rallys on a 70-72?

Discussion in 'The Hides' started by ThatBlue72', Oct 26, 2017.

  1. Do you guys think some 14x6 rally wheels would look too small under a Skylark? I was planning on 15's but I found 14's for a good price

I have 14" on my 67. Eventually I will upgrade to 15" but the 14's look just fine.

Most owners stay away from the 14 inch rims. I think the 15 inch look better on the later models. And I believe you have more tire options. Also, if you need center caps, visit my website www.buickcenters.com
    Thanks Mitch

    Mitch,
Can you just buy the plastic centers?

    Cheers,
    Mike

  6. I think they look great

14" was the standard wheel size for the Skylark/GS I believe, 15" were optional starting in 1970.

Thanks and my car was ordered with 14 inch hubcaps so that's why I did 14
I also have the original hubcaps that came with the car

  9. Unfortunately I have no clue what came on my car, but I know it was originally green.

14" Rallyes look great on the Skylark/GS, just less tire options, that's the problem. You have many more tire options with a 15" wheel.

Guess I'll throw my 14"s in the mix. I like how they look though full disclosure 15"s are in the future.
