Anniversary Bought my origianally owned 70 Skylark 350 in August of 1991 with 42000 mi. completely stock with a 2 barrel and single exhaust and snow tires & hubcaps my brother belonged to the G.S.club and told me to join in Sept I went to the Buick meet at Englishtown N.J. and won 2nd place in small block.It has just snowballed since then in its current state,it only comes out on soecial occasions or shows or when my stage car is being worked on it's a consistent 1st place show car that runs 13.50's in the 1/4 mile at 100 m.p.h. It is my Baby and I'll die with it in my possesion.:laugh:
{the creepy quiet guy with the strange tastes clears his throat from his shadowy corner} I came over from the Pontiac camp (3rd generation), smitten by the simmering anger in the '59 Buick. Bought my Invicta coupe in Oct 1989, stored it until 1995 then started working on it- going as far as body-off. Only drove it a few hundred miles (at night it was harder to see it had no plates/sticker :Brow: ) Many parts acquired... much money spent... all rust & rot gone... still working..... Only other Buicks I've owned have been a 'parts' '59 Electra & a smashed '72 Riv (for the powertrain :Brow::laugh: ).
