Hello, I am changing jets in this carb and got careless and forgot to mark down which side these tubes came from, front or back? I believe they were in the front part of the carburetor can anyone confirm this? thanks
I tried to call Mike at AM&P to see if he knew but his number is no longer in service.
I put the tubes in Loosely to take a picture to show which tubes I was talking about so...front or back?and 20180819_155527.jpg curious why?
    Thanks for any help,
    Don

Those look like jet extensions, they would go on the rear of the carb if so.

The purpose is when you launch hard the gas sit still as the car moves causing the fuel to collect at the rear of the bowl. On the rear jets this could cause them to become uncovered and not pull gas. The tubes act like straws so the gas can be reached.

In the front the fuel collects up against the metering blocks and the jets are not at risk of pulling air
