I had a really good day, like most days. But at times I thought, really. You did that? #1. My wife's bedroom door was closed. I chose to enter. #2. I walked in. #3. I saw my wife naked today. I'm still thinking about that. Not!!! I personally own a Men in Black neuralyzer! #4. I said, Good morning to my wife. #5. I decided to stain / paint all the wood on my cargo trailer. #6 I tried to move the trailer by myself, and my back still hurts. #7. I asked my wife for help. #8. I went on this Buick site where all theses people were arguing. I laughed. #9. I went on that thread again. Dang crazy people!!! #10. I'm still waiting. >
10 things that were good in the last 3 days... #1. My son and I still went on the usual Saturday night cruise. (Only 7 cars showed up, bummer.) #2. We cruised to a pizza place that always serves outside at picnic tables. We practiced social distancing. #3. My slow GS350 beat a GN. (He blew a head gasket.) #4. The fire/bang that came out from under his inner fender well was awesome!!! Wish I was videoing! #5. We went to his house and partied! #6. We made it boating the last day. They've closed down everything! At least by me. #7. I stared at a young blonde on the sandbar for over 3 hours. BEST part of the day!!! #8. I made it home alive. #9. We're going on an awesome family canoe/ camping trip this weekend. 16 people in all. Ya, I know. We planned it months ago and we're going to do it. #10....... Tomorrow!!!
I spent 10 years in NW Florida. 7 cars would be considered about 1/2 of a good cruise night. I could never understand the lack of interest in a good cruise night down there. We went to many that started, gained a little ground and were all done in 3 months. We grew to hate Florida and moved back up north here in 2014. The cruise nights up here are typically 150 cars or more and we could literally go to one every night of the week somewhere near if we wanted to. It's a different world for sure.
John E., thank you for showing Mike my Sunday dream. They were delicious! Bill... What I meant was... We usually have 25 to 30 regulars that meet up each Saturday evening, and then we cruise to a different place each time. I'm guessing because of the virus we only had 7 cars show up. It's a real fun group of people!
Every should isolate themselves as much as possible. No one is bullet proof. Not you, not the people that will be infected due to arrogant, selfish, and foolish acts. This threat is real, why don't people get it?
The main reason is nobody knows who or what to believe with things so politicized these days? Ya got one side calling it a pandemic and the other saying it is a farce! So Joe blow doesn't know what is truth and what is BS ? People die from the flu every winter, you and I don't know who is telling the truth ? "due to arrogant, selfish, and foolish acts" like what I've heard and seen from the media and certain politicians?
If you happen to know one, ask an ER doctor working the front line where this thing is blowing up. These people have absolutely no political, media or any other agenda to defend regarding whether this is a hoax or just another flu... I happen to have a good friend who is one and she don't think so because she is working her a#! off in extremely tense circumstances, the likes she hasn't seen in her 20 years of practice...and I will lend her credence before anything else I read from the pundits. Just sayin'... Everyone is entitled to freedom of thought and expression and I respect that to the nth degree...until it hurts someone else. Something to think about before you go out there carelessly. Please be thoughtful in your actions and expressions.
