Wowzers! That's a lotta bang for the buck. Kinda sucks it lost some of the creature comforts which pushes it into track car only category. But seeing the engine bay makes it quite clear why. Still very impressive and affordable. Surprised to see antique plates on the car. Thought 25 years old was the definition? Or is it just 20 years in Pennsylvania?
I raced that guy in a final and won at a ECIRS (East Coast Impala Racing) event at Mason Dixon with my 96 Roadmaster. When I went to get my payout they said no payout just a handshake.....oh well..... Car is SWEET!!! Pretty impressive if really 3.08 gears.....
That is badass setup done right,..lot of fun for little money The 3.08 is used to increase load which makes the turbo work harder and build heat,..ie makes it more efficient
Be hard to Uber that with those down bars right were ppl would sit.....but I've seen those cars on the rag at that asking price
"ANTIQUE" tags. Thats funny. I'm pretty sure the car is supposed to be mostly factory to qualify. Hopefully somebody from PADot doesn't see it. Still cool though. Interior looks like it is in nice shape. Probably low miles since it was modified fairly early in its' life. I'd like to put ANTIQUE tags on my '95 Roadmaster wagon but I don't think "they" would be too happy with my using it for towing my '76 around. The rear seat rollbar supports look funny just because they shoot down so fast. Even on a two door they don't go down like that. I guess it is legal with NHRA. I would have gone for mostly straight back and down through the rear deck.
