Looking to upgrage my 15x8 Draglite wheels with 275/60/15 tires to something a bit wider. Looking at wheel and tire combo's as well as the backspacing from other racers.Probably looking to keep a 28-29 inch tires..
5.5 back space 325/50 is all that's going in stock tubs, as far as width they are 27.8 tall 29in pro brackets are an awesome tire, not very wide but work awesome
On my old car I used summit brand 15x10 wheels with 5.5" backspace and 295/55R15 drag radials. I liked that they were a bit taller than the 295/50
I have 15x8 I run either a 30x9 ir a 29 x 10 drag slick. With the 29x10 I could use and am getting a 2 inch wider rim to get a better contact area. My 15x8 are 4.5 bs. So to keep everything centered as it is I would go with a 5.5bs for my 10 wheel. In my car I have a little extra room inside as I do outside, so I might lean if I can find it to natch the front rims towards a 5.75 bs to such it in a little more My car is a 72 with a stk 8.5 axle
