My neighbor has black & red over 30 ft each of this sgx 1/0 wire .....higher temps and over 1000 strands looks quality and he will have lots of left over for me and free plus he has all the crimping tools needed most advise on 2 awg for normal hook up Question ....is this 1/0 overkill for battery to starter and bat ground to block ???
I see NO problem as long as you are not worried about Authenticity . It will help in cold weather . Years ago I used to use the thickest wire gauge I could possible find . Standard Products wire was always available In different lengths and Gauges . Just be care full of your routing I don't think there is such a thing as too much overkill . But that's my opinion .
a little thicker but routing seems to be no problem ..seems flexible enough, plus I like the idea of running my own and crimping with proper tools and heat shrinking tube looks like fun
I like the idea that you can get both RED and BLACK cables. The old Standard Product Cables were BLUE . I think they were called EKTON Cables ???
