You CAN use second generation Camaro/Firebird sport mirrors and flip the gaskets with a little modification (remove the tab) and they will WORK, and look CLOSE...But are NOT 100% correct. Might as well go for it all, while at it... You will also need the inner brace for the mirror on the passenger side. The driver's side has the brace welded in; It was not usually on most cars on the passenger side. And if you are wanting CORRECT sport mirrors, you will also have to get the CORRECT wedge gasket!!! If not, your mirrors will be tilted all wonky.
2nd gen I assume is 70-81 .. I suppose idly have set from those years they don’t seem to look right
