10.508 sounds like a pretty good ET.
Care to share any of the engine build specs and any details about the car?
We'd love to hear all about it! ;)

    You definitely should bring it.
8.50 qualifying is a great show. Anywhere from 50-75 cars for 32 car field.
    Favorite class to watch.

    JESUPERCAT No Slow Boat

    Motivational video.
Many have seen it but maybe for the new folks. 462 iron block 2 speed and just over 1800 lbs. The shift lite is at 7200rpm in the video. Yes those are the grandstands at BG left side end when I back off the burnout:D 50% of the fun of a run is doing the burnout. Effortlessly:)
New combo is starting to come together. As I said a few months ago I need to get back in the Cat.

^^ it is if it's an iron block.:D^^ in racing sanctioning bodies use certain parts to limit performance of a vehicle. Buick purists use the factory blocks:).
Nice combos in this thread. Looking forward to advancing the numbers soon.....

In a car I owned... about 10.50 at 126ish, with high 1.49 60' times... never really hit it hard on the low ET stuff, as most of the time I bracket raced on a throttle stop. 87 Regal at 3150 lbs

    In a customer's car that I built and drove... 9.04 at 149 with a 1.19 60' 72 GS at 3110 lbs

If Mike Erickson let's me take his car for a pass this summer, that number will be lowered considerably. Before adding nearly 300 HP, and doing a bunch of chassis work, that car ran 8.50's at 156mph with one of my Tomahawk race motors.- TA STG 3 heads with one of my converted Mopar intakes and a single 1250.. 82 Regal at 2450 lbs.

The new billet heads/intake with a pair of 1250's is a whole different animal.

Wallace calculators say 7.73 at 175, but I will believe that when I see it.

    Jim,
I have used the Wallace calculators for some time, and find them pretty accurate when a car can hook.
    Cheers
