I was into street outlaws but they got into more drama than racing so I stopped watching, 45 minutes of yelling and 5 minutes of racing didn't do anything for me. Memphis seemed to come out with all the drama so I wasn't into it.

I agree with both of you. I got sick of the manly men. Ruined it for me.

I got tired of the drama too. Around here if there’s a “street” race there are no big rigs and trailers around either. Didn’t a few of the stars try to compete in a Drag Week one year and only last a day or something? They do have some fast cars even though it’s 1/8th mile.

1/8 mile is not drag racing to me. Sure they are fast cars but 1/8 mile is weak.

my favorite is that little blonde, one of those drivers daughters I believe..... I don't really watch it either though. none of them are running street cars, they're all high dollar race cars.

I don't watch it at all. Saw one episode and that was about it. Drag racing on a closed street, ok whatever. What gets me is these are full on drag cars that gets trailered there. Street outlaws should be me driving there on a street legal car with drag radials (not slicks) and racing the guy next to me.

Just tape it and fast forward thru the bs. Reduces 60 min of tv to about 20 Wasn't much of a believer until trish’s car pulled the front wheels at the 1/8th. While racing in St. Louis

Have a question about the "Chase is a race". If I jump and run it all the way out, but you launch because of me and shut it down after 5 feet or so. Is that considered a chase?

If you jump its the same as a red light and you lose. even if the other lane shuts down after 5' but still crosses the finish line, even 15 mins later, its a win.

I have a hard time watching the show. JJ is too much for me. I like no prep kings of the race shows the most but I rarely watch it

Briz so the first guy wins, be cause you chased as a reaction to his jump? Man that would be tough. If a person jumps hard not to in a "flash light tree"

I remember JJ saying if the car your racing jumps & IF you just sit there & don't move you are the winner. IF you start the chase the race is ON.

OK, I have to admit, I watch the MSO (Memphis street outlaws) every Monday night,...Racing is in my blood,.. I think JJ's race crew is a legit tight crew that know how to set up their cars for the street racing,. and their's plenty other's out there that know how to also,.. but were talking about the MSO for the moment...
Most of their cars are back half cars with the engines set back for weight transfer and tuned chassis, their cars are almost dragging their rear bumpers when they launch... even when their not pulling wheelies..
I think JJ can be a little over bearing, but is true to the sport and give's all the racer's a fair shake... I like when he has his arm drop $10,000 dollar races.. brings out a lot of street racers..

About the girls,.. Trisha, races Heifer,.. Precious, races Ziptie... Chelsea, races Tom cat and Mallory, aka(Molly) races Ugly Duckling,.. are great driver's and the girls will sometime's switch cars and race them..
I think they are some of the best girl street racers out there, and I;m sure their's many other's out there.. but I've said many time's to know when to peddle a car or grab the second kit so to straighten the car out on top end takes talent and many street races to feel that.. they use that second scramble button to win a lot of races,.. but thats no secret on the street now a days... Im talking about using nitrous.. 2 or 3 kits,.
You can have the fastest car and best tune, but still need a good driver.., the girls seem to hang with the boy's just fine,..
Favorite driver... has to go to most of the MSO group not just one, they know how to handle their cars...

BTW... the race Trisha when through the finish line on the back tires was just crazy, I kept rewinding the the show to make sure what I was seeing... I showed my son , he couldn't believe it,.
That new big motor is working great for her,.. scramble button... LOL

I do like the NO Prep kings racing also,.. some really fast cars for sure,..!!
