I'm selling my Wildcat, I really don't need 3 convertibles.

The car is mechanically all still the original stuff; - it's never been pulled apart, just maintained. It has the 430-4bbl hooked up to the TH 400 switch pitch which still works. Motor is tight, doesn't smoke, builds a lot of power, but has 134,000 miles on it. Suspension and brakes are stock and original, serviceable.
The car will still burn rubber into 2nd gear, and that with a 3.07 axle is pretty impressive for something that original.
Body and interior and chrome were redone in the original colour scheme. Looks like pretty good quality work, not sure though, I didn't own the car when the body was redone. All I know is 3 people went broke doing it. It's pretty presentable, I'll get some pictures loaded up in the next while.

Top was redone in 1993, it's still in good shape. The car has spent most of the past 30 years in a garage, first mine, then someone else's, and then mine again. There has only been about 15,000 miles put on it in the past 30 years, most of it between 1991 and 2004 when I first sold it.

The car is located near Edmonton Alberta Canada, and I'm looking for US $15,000 obo. for it.

NOTE: These pictures are a few years old from a previous owner. I can shoot some new ones of it, I changed some interior details and replaced the radio and 8 track units with the proper 1967 originals. And yes, that stupid Schwanz hanging off the license plate is gone.

Looks great Marc! Is that blue mist or sapphire blue? Good luck with the sale

I think it's the sapphire, - not sure though, I didn't paint it. The only thing it still really needs body-wise is the pin striping. I might get that done yet because it really sets off the lines on the car and just about all cars with the Custom trim package seem to have had it.

Good luck with the sale Marc, I'm on the cusp of selling my Wildcat as well. My finances have taken a big hit and I've already sold off most of my vintage radio collection and I'm doing my best to hang onto the buick, but unless things change, it's not looking good.

Why is it that since being furloughed 10 weeks ago, all I’ve seen are car for sale ads with prices that under any other instance, I’d have jumped on. Now, all I can do is breathe deeply and sigh. COVID is a cruel and twisted mistress...

Don't worry, cars like these are never quick sales. People certainly aren't falling over themselves to look at this one. Had only a nibble so far, but like most, I think his finances are shaky.
    It'll likely still be here.
It's safely sitting in a garage, any time anyone wants to look at it, give me a call.

I guess it's not a great time to be putting this car on for sale here; - the borders are still closed. Hopefully things will open up soon...
$15,000 US takes it...don't all rush up at once! ;) :D

Well...it's still here, there's no interest for it locally either.
    So...I'll entertain offers...
    ...And likely hear crickets. :D

Marc, I put my 65 up for sale as well.. Wrong time in the season here, too late.. Not much attention, other than an overweight guy, that was more busy speaking about his old suberban than looking at the Buick..

GLWS, but seems like Corvettes and Mustangs sells much faster and more expensive..

At least you got a fat guy to come out and look.
I got nothing except some moron who seems to only be capable of emailing a low number and nothing else. He's up $3000 from his initial embarrassing offer, but no where near what I want. I figure he's either a flipper or a phisher, because most people I know that are interested in a car come out and look at it first before making an offer. So I'll likely change the add a bit, but since the car isn't doing anything except holding down the concrete in my garage, it can sit until it sells.

What a great car...if I didn't already have 2 Wildcat convertibles I'd be after this one!

Well David, if you should ever decide to get a 3rd one, make me an offer, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised. I'm willing to move on the price for a board member.

It’s a beautiful car! I only have room for one blue big block convertible, but if it were closer I’d be thinking about it. Good luck!

This is a great car but I think this fall and maybe the next 18 months will be tough for sellers. A lot of folks are going to need cash or be looking to trim expenses. That also means fewer buyers, more options and greater price leverage for any buyers. Not to mention any big car, from any brand, is a tougher sell than a pony car or a hot truck. I already see a lot of nice cars for sale in the Boston area.
