Car is jacked, sprayed liquid wrench on nuts and bolts....getting ready to dump the tranni fluid next. Looking at the cross member, looks like you can just run the primary emergency brake cable over the top of the cross member just as it does now on the turbo 350. I did order the turbo 400 primary brake cable and the shorter intermediate cable and hook.

Has anyone else done this swap, used there turbo 350 cross member on the turbo 400, ran the emerg brake cable over the cross member just as it did on the turbo 350?

Cracked the pan today....it’s still dripping fluid!
Disconnected my turbo 350 gas pedal and cables, took off cross member mounts....this car is so rust free. Very fortunate
Had 6an’s welded to my tranny cooler, good friend of mine performed that work for the project.

Got the turbo 350 out. Now back to detailing and painting remaining 4227E9D6-1C29-4951-AA9C-23F798EF7AE6.jpeg portion of the underside of the car.

You gonna paint it up or just put it back in O'natural?

It looks like it was originally chassis black, so I’ll glass bead it, paint.

That is why every transmission here has a drain plug added. Does not need
to get all the oil, just enough to avoid a sloppy mess. Bruce Roe

Going to enjoy the sun for the couple weeks, then back prepping and painting remaining floor and tunnel where the turbo 350 used to live. Slowly getting there!
