1972 Torque specs for a few things

    What would be the torque specs for the Timing chain cover and the w/p bolts?

    timing chain cover = 29 lb-ft
    cannot find the w/p spec. will look furthur.

    I don't use a torque wrench for things like that. It isn't needed IMHO.

    You don't for the TC cover, WP, FP, all the stuff coming off to do the cover?

    No, I use my common sense. I snug it up a little at a time, and make it tight, but I never crank on it. Experience helps a lot. I've seen guys strip out threads using a torque wrench on small bolts. For intakes, heads, bearing caps and such, yes, you use a torque wrench.
