Anyone out there know if the early 60's spindles will fit on the later 60's B bodies? Ive got a 69 wildcat that im trying to put the pretty wilwood calipers and rotors on. With the little cross referancing ive done they seem to be same in the ball joint location as referanced from the spindle centerline. Wilwood makes a kit for the 65 Riviera, and since I dont know how to spend my money wisely i bought the brackets. Well theyre abot an 1/8 too long on the mounting faces to fit the spindles I have (69 wilcat). Ill try them on another set of spare spindles that are in storage, but IF a set for 65 Rivi would fit (and I know there are many models that used the same as the Rivi) that info would be greatly appreiated.

Maybe? Scarebird would have that info. Do have access to some old Hollander manuals at local yard, if that is of any help. Yard does have a '65 Electra 225 convertible, but one of the spindles is gone.

At this point, I'm probably just going to have to bite the bullet and get some custom spindles made. So ill need to find a Rivi or Electra spindle to take one of mine and have a shop make a Frankenstein set. end results will be sweet. I've got a set of the scarebird ones. But I really want that pretty Wilwood caliper behind my wheel. Any idea how I can go about snagging up that on spindle?

I have nice 69 Electra drum spindles, with all hardware and steering arms. But guessing that's exactly what you have too. On your Wildcat, the ones that have the huge aluminum finned drums.

Yep. Has something like 92 fins. It's definitely not the 50 something variety.

Tubular Rear arms are available from ride tech and I had tubular arms made for the front by a different company. Expensive but will be cool. Gord

First of all, I'm super jelly that I couldn't start from the frame up. I found a company that's going to make me custom spindles. C-10 style so I can actually find replacement parts and they'll be set up with my stock attachment points. Its going to slaty, but worth it in the end.

That’s cool, post some pictures once you get them. I’m using the stock spindles but would have liked to had some custom spindles. This all started because I wanted to change the colour of my car....don’t take the body off they said!
