Thanks, Marc! That was Jason's idea - and a good one at that. Hard to believe the car traded hands 10 different times and never left town.
It's nice that we actually have the ability to work on these cars without removing 10 different things or unplugging a computer. In and out in under an hour and started in the second try. Bonus! Now the real fun starts - tackling the list that continues to grow.
Dave Johnson came down this morning and we went on a bit of an archeological dig. He also brought his radiator hose stamp.
I left work early today and added the used Delco topper I found on eBay last year. I've encountered some electrical issues the last couple weeks and a new battery was definitely in order. This was the first nice day in recent memory (all it's done here this month has rained) so I took advantage and went for a little test cruise. It felt good to row the gears and (again) not sit on the floor.
Thanks to Frank for the correct positive battery cable clips. One other thing I can check off the seemingly endless list.
Nice Iv'e just to see got to the Vadar this summer.. In the picture's of some shows I believe Iv'e seen a few of the car's parked next to you at some point..but surprised I haven't seen yours even once on the street. You might not drive it much but still it's a small world and i'm only 10 miles away..
I drive it as often as possible, as long as Mother Nature cooperates - which hasn't been much as of late. I'll have it at the Great Woods swap meet this Saturday. My friends rent a few spots in row "OO" and since Saturday is supposed to be nice, I'm bringing the car - and not parking in the public lot. I'm curious how many people will ask "how much", since it's going to be parked among the swap meet.
LOL! You might as well start making a politely worded sign saying thank you but please it's not for sale I wouldn't be able to make it Saturday When is or does Seekonk Speedway have a show?
