SBC 355 with 509 hp plus NOS big shot kit. Edelbrock performer rpm heads, vic jr intake, holley/BG hybrid 750, SRP forged pistons, eagle H-beam rods, steel crank, etc. All that through a Top Quality built TH350 with hardened internals, 4000 stall, Manual shift valve body, etc. And backed by a 69 10 bolt gm (camaro) with strange 31 spline axles, hy-tuff spool and a ricmond pro 4:10 gear.
Cage is a 10 point with custom X brace through the back seat, net and harnesses, all with gussets for strength.
All guages are Autmeter ultralite, and the Nitrous is controlled with a Jacobs mastermind for safety and reliabilty. Rims are Weld Aluma-stars.
The Body is sprayed Sunfire (not the throwaway car) orange with black stripes by Ziegler and a 4" Harwood cowl was mated to the stock hood.
Although the heart is a chevy the attitude is all BUICK.

Yeah I forgot about that pic. That was when I first finished the car. I was going to sell her but no bites so I will just keep improving her. As for how quick... 11:12 on 100 shot. Have a couple of bugs to work out and hopefully break the 11:00 barrier.

Did you mount your own hood scoop? I can't find any after market cowl hood for my 78.

Unfortunate that the car is not more popular. Much of the body is chevy Nova, with Buick division cues. Header panel, taillights and fender portholes.
