Need a pic of a 69 GS steering column cover

    Long story, but I want to make sure it is finished correctly. Car has pearl interior / black column. Want a picture of the piece covering the underside of the steering column showing finish and chrome trim.

    Hey Steve,
    Here's a picture of my 68 part. It's the same as a 69 just that the 69 has a fatter half circle because the column is fatter. From the bottom, paint, chrome, dash board black, chrome. Good luck on the chrome. I've heard some people have had good luck with Testors chrome magic markers.

    On the chrome front you could try the Molotow chrome pens. Or use Bare Metal Foil (BMF to us modellers) or as I did, use aluminium foil and PVA glue. Glue it down, trim the excess and wipe off. A PITA job, but doable.
