My mom has been in and out of the hospital the entire year of 2018 and Friday she went in for kidney stone pain. Yesterday morning she was complaining to the nurse of stomach pain where they said her eyes rolled back and her heart stopped and she stopped breathing! They got it going again but when they got her to the ICU it stopped again and they got it going again. She basically died twice, don't think she can come back from a third time. They think a blood clot went to her heart to cause all this but of coarse they are just guessing. I got the call 5:30 am of what was going on and was at the hospital all day yesterday, went home for a couple hours of sleep and will be on my way back shortly after posting this. She is now stabilized and we're playing the waiting game to see if she can come back from all that. Would appreciate any prayers anyone can send her way for Laura to pull through this. Thank you all.
Lifting up your mom and everyone involved with her care. May God’s presence and love surround them.

Thank you all for the prayers and good wishes. An update for mom 5 days in, she is still in the ICU with a breathing tube but she is responsive and able to answer yes and no questions. Being brought back from the dead is a very traumatic experience, she has broken ribs from the CPR and still need the medication to keep her blood pressure up which is really bad for kidney function so they also have her on the lessor demanding on her heart 24 hour dialysis machine. They have her on a constant sedative drip and fentanyl for pain as needed as well. While I was there yesterday while she was more awake when the physical therapist was there making her move her arms and legs, after that I asked her if she wanted to keep fighting and she nodded her head yes. Asked her again while her sister was there and she nodded yes again. She does nod for no as well when she wants to answer no just to make it clear that she can answer both ways. She has a hard time opening her eyes being on that sedative because of her eye problems she had before this but does when her favorite grand kids show up. Still in hurry up and wait mode to see if she'll pull through this so please keep the prayers coming her way, thank you all.
