    1968 buick GS 400

    fuel: gas
    title status: clean
    transmission: automatic

A real true 68 Buick GS 400. All original. Numbers matching 400 engine, 400 turbo hydromatic trans, and 2.93 limted slip posi 10 bolt rear differential. All 3 are numbers matching. Color is ivory gold mist poly. (It's gold with a green tint). Black vinyl top. Black interior. Buckets seats with center shift lever console. Power steering. Power drum brakes. Original 4 barrel rochester quadrajet carb, original exhaust manifolds air cleaner, valve covers, etc. All original stock factory car except for radio, radiator and has been converted to power brakes from manual. I have original radio, original radiator, and original master cylinder. Have protecto plate, owners manual, warranty book and misc. paperwork. Have extra set of GM keys. The car is solid with no rust. Runs and drives excellent with no issues. No rattles, vibrations, or noises. 57,365 miles are on the car. Because of the great condition of the car, I think the miles are true, but not sure. All guages, lights, blinkers, door buzzers, wipers, horn, fan, heat, and instrument panel works, except for the clock. The cigarette lighter works as does the windshield washer fluid pump to squirt the windshield clean. Original T3 headlights work. Flowmaster 40 series exhaust. No rust on exhaust system. Interior is in excellent condition except for crack in steering wheel. Worst part of the car is the paint. It is not perfect. It has stains, some dings, and car cover wear marks. Has some car cover worn out spots on the trunk lid. The trunk dome light does not work. The chassis underneath is clean. No rust. All you see is black paint and undercoating. No panels or floorboards have been replaced. All original no rust panels and floorboards. This car is a great driver. Handles great. Comfortable riding car with no mechanical issues.

    Price is $21,500

Nice looking car. Didn't read orig. ad, but as I've said many times on here, rust free orig. Sheetmetal should command a premium. Sure, maybe more than it's "worth" and the flipper is making $5k but something one could jump in and have fun with today.

I remember the original ad, and thought hard about this car at the time.

That is a very clean car, very nicely presented. I think 19k is fair to pay for it.

Getting hard to find a non cobbled up GS for 20K flip or not. Esp for a Big Block car.

These 68s are cheap. You can’t build/restore one that nice for even $21k

Not for '68's that I have found, I did buy one set of white reproductions but they were too white and not really like the originals.
