I have a sway bar from an 80 Trans am does anybody know if it will fit my 71 skylark? Not sure the stock size of my original sway but its a noticeably smaller than the TA's

Yes, I've also done it a dozen times. It makes a really big difference in the handling.

If you look at the George's document, two things to remember:

    1) Use taller end links to clear the tie rod ends. I've never been able to use the regular ones that came off the GS without it hitting. I've used these: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/driveworks-suspension-sway-bar-link-kit-dw-k8265/15510351-P

    2) The tie rod end adjusters and clamp bolts will potentially hit the sway bar on compression and turns. I normally rotate them to the bottom like they are in the first pic of George's article.

I've done it on my 71 Skylark Custom convertible. The primary thing that I found needing was that I had to use socket head (Allen) bolts to install onto the frame, as there was not enough clearance for normal hex head bolts.

Its all about the bushings, brackets and hole spacing/thread. You will love it, I did the same.:)
