This is the pics of my frame off resto I'm doing on my dad's '64 Electra convertible that he ordered new. He gave it to me 8 years ago. It was not without heartaches along the way such as lot's of rust, engine issues (thanks Tom Telesco for help), bad choices in transmissions (VERY happy now) etc. I am currently dropping off the original seats for restoration and the rear bumper for rechroming. Hoping to be cruising in style this coming spring Best advise I can give.... Keep a spreadsheet of your expenses. Yes, she is my biggest supporter for sure. Those seats are ones we put together to use until the original ones are back from restoration. Not sure what I'm going o do with them when I'm done with em.

Coming from someone who has just started his journey into a full restoration , I applaud you and all of your hard work!! , I also appreciate all the pics you took the time to post , that's exactly the type of content that brought me to this site in the first place.
This is great stuff! It gives me a little more energy to continue my restoration. My restoration started as "a couple of little things to weld on the floor and a couple of little bubles in the pain". Now 2,5 years later I'm thinking about taking the body off the frame. The previous "restorations" had involved a lot of Bondo directly over rust and if something had been welded it had not been painted. Basically, everything that had been fixed had already rusted, again. You have been quite lucky and most probably clever to keep your wife interested in the project. I cannot get my wife even near the garage anymore. However, it might have been my own fault - I asked her to scrape undercoating from the rear wheel well... Anyways, thanks for the great pictures!

Larry loved it! Great to see all you work!! FYI -- I have been to the oil sands mines in Fort Mac -- you are NORTHHHH. My car is from Regina and I have always wondered what dealer it came from.
