    Hi,

i am looking for a rebuilt kit and have found kits from TCI, Cyclone/Reybestos and ALTO,
is there a difference in quality ?
Should i prefer one of the manufacturers ?

    Thanks ...

I won't try to rate the suppliers. But exactly what is included tends to
vary a lot. And you will probably need to buy additional parts to do the
    job. Bruce Roe

TexasT Texas, where are you from

have you ever overhauled a trans before? Do you have a manual and a book or two? Do you have the means to compress the clutch pack to get the old out and the new in?
much of the stuff can be ordered off suppliers like whatever it takes and bulkpart.com and others.
they have kits and can be ordered by the piece.

I would hit YouTube and do some watching.

in my opinion if you can remove one and put it back in you should be able to.over haul one. You do need some things that probably aren't in your tool kit but eBay is your friend.
YouTube has a bunch of good vids and you will need a manual to see about the clearances.

new rear planet gear kit is on the way, i think i should not use the old one with grooves

i like the borg warner frictions myself. Them grooves probably mean you need to tighten up the low reverse clutch pack.
