I have a nice solid GS for sale. Its been a race car all of its life. Former Dick Baker car. Last raced in 2010 as a super stock car. Car has Mark Williams front disc brakes. 12 bolt with 35 spline axles and spool 4:10 pro gear and TA girdled cover. MSD 7al2 ignition , aluminum rad, Hooker super comp headers. Have Weld aluma stars on front and Bogart force 5 rears wheels. Car still has a stock rear wheel well(not cut up) and I have most of the removed street items in my garage so the car can be turned back to street use if wanted minus the roll cage. I have a clean title for the car (Ontario) The car is located outside of Toronto , Canada. Car won an IHRA national event in stock eliminator and one runner up. If interested in pictures e-mail me at johnny5_oh@hotmail.com and I can send some pics.
Asking 16000 USD and will include all the Buick stuff in my garage

Why is it Super Stock not stock?

I used to run the car in stock then I moved up to super stock. At first I ran super stock with my stocker engine until I built my first good engine then I really stepped up my program. In super stock I was able to run 10.40s on an 11.55 index and still on the 9 inch tires. Never even changed the converter for the good super stock motor just changed the rear gear.I would still run that combination had my trailer not got broken into and had the engine and 2 transmissions stolen. Thats why basically I want to sell the car because I have to start from scratch on a combination again and I would rather sell the car instead.

I probably have enough pieces to build a stocker engine again minus a trans that is just some of the stuff that is included in the "Buick stuff in my garage" in my original post.

What documentation do you have that it was a Dick Baker car? Any pictures of the car from when he campaigned it?

I actually do have a picture of the car when Dick owned the car and when it was white with blue flames. I bought the car on 1994 with the same paint scheme on it and ran the car for a few years and then stripped the car down to bare metal and had the car painted the way that you see it in the pictures. I originally had the original Ohio title for the car but cant seem to be able to find it right now. The car was one of the cars that Dick owned that were sponsored by Len Immke Buick in Columbus Ohio.I will post those pics later tonight

The first picture is from about 1974 or 75 I was told and Dick was driving the car. The second pic is me from 1996 at my local track. The other two pics were a few years after the car was repainted at a local stock/super stock combo race from the late 90s and early 2000s.

Paint is different in the second picture??? Had it been repainted from the first pic to the second? Im interested, but would like to see more documentation showing it was Dicks car.

Jim I will try to find the original title for the car as well as the papers from when the car crossed the border into Canada and the guy that brought it over paid the duty on the car. I did not buy the car from Dick but another guy bought the car in 1988 and did not even race the car once. He had it for six years and then decided to sell it and thats when I bought the car. Or if Billy or Bobby Baker see this post they will verify that it was indeed their fathers car.
