Gary just chimed in on the (Cars for sale) Me and Gary go way back. There was a guy named Porky in Bellevue Pgh. Neighborhood. There are lots of story's of Porkys 72 GS Stage1 beating all takers. My son start dating a girl months ago her Dad found out I had a Stage 1 . He told my son many story's about porkys Stage 1 owning the street.
Some how I think I told Gary about that car going up for sale! That car was a legend! I think that car was bought to drag race only but porky drove on the streets back then Drag racing in Pgh . Was HUGE. 4 speed car no power steering no power brakes. That car was fast. And that is the only Stage 1 on the street back then in our area.
What's crazy about this story is Gary worked at the prison beside the river. Porky spent his life feeding Ducks at the dock beside the prison. They new nothing about each other. Some how me and Gary became friends . And I had just started my resto on my Stage 1. Gary owned a Beautiful 68 Camaro. And decided to sell it. Then Bought the 72 Stage 1 . He loved that car.
So I'm at a car cruise couple weeks ago. (Gary who found me on this forum couple weeks ago) But as you read this thread. I found Gary his Stage1. So he stops by . And tells me who he sold his 72 Sage1 too. And was upset he sold the car 16 yrs ago. He has been tore apart since he sold the car. Realizes he made a huge mistake. So I told him I would ask some members on the forum. Well after the car was sold 2 more times it was found. So at least Gary has some sort of closure. So down the road if the car comes up for sale. Well Gary may have an opportunity to try to buy the car back. So Gary see's my car at the cruise (For Sale) pleading to me what a mistake he made. Ready to pounce on my car. $$$ Well I told him I can not go through with Sale of my Buick. It's like HE was sent to me in some wierd way
