I have been seeing some 1970 GS's with redlines, but they weren't a factory option after 1970 correct?

Red lines available with 14's, but not 15's.

I stand corrected, I guess! I knew they weren't available on my car, but it has the F41 option + 15"s. I didn't know you could get them w/14's. Thanks for clarifying that Chris. My bad!

Ted Nagel's 70 Stage1 has redlines from the factory. I saw the paperwork for it on Friday...pretty cool.

So just to clarify, redlines were available on 14" wheels, but not 15" wheels?

This was the Sloan report for the Silver with black top and buckets convertible I used to own. They definitely checked the right boxes when the ordered it, including the red line tires!

One of my '70s still has its original Firestone Wide Oval red line in the trunk.

It looks like punctures ! Stage 2 - which way is "Firestone" lettering oriented?
The judges were looking at my bias ply repros and the lettering has the bottom of the letter is towards the outside of the tire- opposite of the Goodyear RWL type. is your original like mine?

OK, I have made my mind up! 15 x 7 steelies painted body color (25) and factory dog dish caps. Going with Diamondback Classic redline tires. Here's my question: 255 60R 15's all around or 255 60R 15's up front and 235 60R 15's up front for that staggered look?

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

235s up front & 275s in the back. Great stance.

Don't like the 275's so going with 255's on the rear for sure. Fronts can be either 235 or 225's...........

Ordered my tires today from Diamondback Classics. 255 60's in the rear and 225 60's in the front for that staggered stance. Now have to paint the 15 x 7 steelies!

My brother, several years ago, ordered a set of redlines for his '67 Camaro SS, from this company. Three tires were good but a fourth was so out of round that it could not be balanced. They did replace the tire but wanted my brother to return the tire, prepaid shipping, to them. He refused.

They showed up two weeks early yesterday, I will post a picture later today. Now I have to get the 15 x 7's painted and get them on the car!
