I'm interested in a 70 GS 455 Stage 1. I will consider all. However, I would prefer (like most everyone else) a numbers matching car, bucket seats, air, convertible ok But a coupe would be better, 4 speed better But automatic is alright. I am NOT looking for an already restored car, nor a show car, nor a concourse restored car. I am interested in a driver or a project car. AGAIN, I will consider any 70 stage 1. Possibly a 71 or 72, but not as much interest there as I have for a 70. Thanks Again! Mark
I think cjp69's is a good deal. I seriously thought about it before I bought mine - Only deciding factor was that the one I bought instead was a green factory manual steering car (both of which which I love) & almost a twin to a car I sold 15 years ago (didn't want to - needed the $). If I could've swung it financially without being totally irresponsible, I'd have bought both.
working on frame off, powdered coated frame etc, silver blk top, bench blk interior auto, pwr wind, Ac new motor, trans, NOT numbers matching, No price yet I have to get it back from paint shop, not finished, but lost interest!
Looks exactly like what Mark described he was looking for and considering the market these days, that seems like a good deal for a numbers car. Again, where are the documents, though?
Right - Get a Sloan or Wayne Roberts - How about interior pics, pics of the engine/trans #'s, what the "$15k" in parts comprises, etc. You're asking $30k for a project! Might be a great deal, Might not, but do a better job selling it.
I have a numbers 70 buckets no console auto project light rust by back window and trunk pan where are you located? Might be worth s look I'm asking 10 k obo
I'm new to the board and not real good at doing all this. I have a 70 GS for sale. Nice car owned 16 years. If you will email me your info I'll email a detailed fact sheet and pix. I think this will answer your questions. I'm near houston. Thanks. Tom Anderson. Twa1945@sbcglobal.net. 281-731-2207
