Hello, so I’m installing new bushings, 15/16 bar, purchased 15/16” bushings. The bushings just don’t loo like they will work? Is there a different bushing I should be using or will they collapse when tightened? Thanks

That bushing does not look correct.

They will squish down when you tighten them up, it's the way they were designed. You can grind some of the rubber away to make the initial fit easier but you will lose some of the tension they provide.

Thanks Nelson , What I have is a parts place repop. Also ordered a set from Napa and got the same ones and the Napa parts number is a correct cross reference. I guess I can try the motor city one/Inline tube to see if different. Motor city sells this which is the same thing I have. Wonder if the other ones you shared are much different. They say OEM correct vs. these others are probably general 15/16” for all applications?

You can buy them from whoever you wish but they're all going to be the same. I've installed dozens of them, Moog, Napa, repo, doesn't matter.

Thanks, I figured they would have to squish down but wanted to be sure before I started tightening the crap out of them sine they are pretty hard rubber.

Thanks, I ordered the in-line tube bushings since I have the in-line tube brackets so hopefully they work.

I just installed a pair like I linked you to, using original factory brackets. I cannot say for sure but by your picture those are not correct.. They do make different size brackets and bushings for the different size sway bars

Glad it worked out. :) I knew the others did not look correct but sometimes pictures can be deceiving.

I ended up with the same wrong size and simply cut them down like the one inline sells.

In the end rubber bushings are just crap. Do your self a favor and get greasable poly bushings. In fact it is the only place in car where you should put poly. This will make huge difference in handling, it will be like night and day.
    Just my 2 cents

    Peace,
    Kacper.
